Bespoke pieces are an ongoing process where we work closely with our brides to create a wedding dress as unique as the person who wears it. You are involved in the process and decision making of your gown every step of the way whilst working within the Saving Grace design aesthetic. Our home studio offers a relaxed and casual environment for your fittings. Bespoke Bridal Gowns require minimum 6 months lead time and involve:
● In-Studio Consultation: First, we have a consultation in our home studio where concepts are dreamt up and fabrics are discussed. we will talk through your vision to get a clearer idea of your dream design. Everyone comes in with a different level of clarity, so this step is all about narrowing down what exactly you’re after. During this step, we often look at and try on existing Saving Grace samples in order to narrow down your design. A follow up appointment may be required to allow for sourcing additional fabrics. Once you’re happy with the design and proposed fabrics and quoted price, we get to work making your dream come true!
● Measurements: Depending on your timeline and location measurements are taken approx. 4 months prior to your wedding to ensure the best fit for you.
● Design Mockup/Fittings: A mock-up version of your gown will be made in order to ensure a perfect fit and pattern/design is approved ahead of making the final gown. Once the gown is made (2 months prior to wedding) approximately 2 fittings are required to finalise the gown in the lead up to your wedding.
If your wedding is closer than 6 months please enquire about our ‘Rush Service’. Custom gown pricing begins at $2750
